Experienced lawyer Kyle T. Kirts maintains a law office in Dayton, Ohio. He represents clients in Common Pleas and municipal courts in cases involving felony and misdemeanor defense, traffic defense, and family probate. Kyle Kirts is licensed to practice in Illinois and Ohio and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA).

OSBA is the professional membership association of Ohio lawyers that leads in promoting justice and the advancement of the legal profession. Before the end of 2022, OSBA praised the Ohio House of Representatives for passing HB 150.

HB 150 created the Ohio Rural Practice Incentive Program, which guarantees access to lawyers and their services for every Ohio resident. OSBA said the new law addresses the growing gap in lawyer access, particularly in rural areas. According to OSBA’s estimates, two-thirds of Ohio counties lack lawyers to provide the residents with legal services.

OSBA has incentivized lawyers who practice in Ohio’s underserved areas. With the new law, OSBA need not carry the burden alone. OSBA can now encourage lawyers to serve in rural areas and expand people’s access to legal services throughout Ohio.
